  • Incanto Valtellina Superiore Sassella DOCG 2018: 92 pts
“Camphor, wild rose, forest berry and hints of graphite and vanilla lead the way on this fragrant red. Linear and elegantly structured, the firm apalate features red cherry, pomegranate and licorice alongside firm, refined tannins. Bright acidity keeps it energized. Drink 2024-2033”.
  • Flammante Valtellina Superiore Inferno DOCG 2018: 91 pts
“Rose, Alpine herb and camphor aromas form the alluring nose. Lithe and austere, the tightly wound but elegant palate offers sour cherry, blood orange and star anise alongside taut tannins. Bright acidity keeps it fresh. Drink 2024-2030”.
  • Cristina Scarpellini Valtellina Superiore Valgella Riserva DOCG 2017: 89 pts
“The nose is rather shy but eventually reveals whiffs of wet stone, forest floor and crushed mint. The austere palòate is leanand restrained, recalling unripe cherry, black tea and a note of coffee bean framed in tightly wounf tannins that leave a firm, mouthdrying close”.
