For Scerscé September starts with a bang!
The Slow Wine 2020 Guide has awarded our Infinito Sforzato di Valtellina DOCG 2016 with the "Slow Wine" certificate, because is

The certificate will be given to us on October 12 in Montecatini Terme during the presentation of the Slow Wine 2020 Guide to be held at the Teatro Verdi. We look forward to it!
THE WINEHUNTER CONFIRMS SCERSCÉ AS EXCELLENCE
Also for the year 2019 the eight tasting commissions led by Helmuth Kœcher, President and founder of the Merano WineFestival, have awarded the certificate of excellence WineHunter to the Scerscé wines.
Essenza Valtellina Superiore DOCG 2016 and Infinito Sforzato di Valtellina DOCG 2015 have been awarded with the WineHunter red seal, which corresponds to a score ranging from 88 to 89.99 points out of 100.
For each wine, the commissions use very different evaluation criteria, which allow them to judge the wine in every aspect: intensity, complexity, elegance, extraordinary personality, raw material, tradition, sustainability,
professionalism, artisanal production, native vines, territoriality. For this reason, being among the best again is a great honour for us.

WINE ENTHUSIAST AWARDS SCERSCÉ'S WINES
Nettare Rosso di Valtellina DOC 2016 – 90 points
“Aromas of red cherry, crushed rock and a whiff of camphor shape the nose. It's bright and supple, offering juicy strawberry, alpine herb, star anise and a hint of graphite alongside lithe tannins. It's easygoing and savory and made to be enjoyed young so drink soon”.
Essenza Valtellina Superiore DOCG 2014 – 90 points
“Aromas of ripe red berry, baking spice and a whiff of pressed violet lift out of the glass. Ethereal and savory, the bright racy palate offers crushed strawberry, red cherry and white pepper alongside lithe silky tannins and vibrant acidity. It's rather light bodied but delicious. Drink through 2022”.
Infinito Sforzato di Valtellina DOCG 2013 – 91 points
“This opens with aromas of steeped prune and baking spice that carry over to the full-bodied palate along with cherries marinated in spirits and star anise. Fine-grained tannins provide the framework and lend finesse”.
